KT Harris got her first start in D.C. radio on 97.1 WASH-FM. A native of Clinton, Maryland, she went on to work at stations across the area and with satellite radio, building a career in broadcasting across the DMV.
She came home to Southern Maryland to help her family run Courtney's, the seafood restaurant her parents Tommy and Julie founded in 1979. Tommy was a lifelong waterman who fished the Potomac every morning for over 45 years. When he passed away in 2025, KT stepped into a bigger role. She now runs the restaurant full time. Julie still cooks. Kathy runs the floor. The fish is still fresh. The legacy holds.
She lives in Ridge, Maryland with her son Nicholas, surrounded by family. She's a self-described goofball who loves to laugh often and hard. What you hear on the air is what you get in person.
KT started her broadcasting career at WASH-FM and has been a voice across D.C. radio and satellite platforms ever since. A DMV original on one of the most recognized stations in the market.
